I don’t have any other garments this color, so that’s a plus. Finally, I’m really loving the sleeveless crocheted detail. The thing I’m struggling with is the price point. Compared to this designer’s tops I’ve purchased in the past, the price for this one is super high. Sigh.
I’ll be the first to call out that my hair is getting really wild in these next few pictures. I was trying on these clothes really quick! As far as the shirt goes, it’s not a winner. I think the neckline is flattering but I don’t like the way it bunches out on the bottom (from the side it made me look pregnant). I’m also not a huge fan of the print.
I could see this shirt looking great with a fitted black blazer for work, but since I’m not working outside of the house right now I won’t be throwing on a blazer any time soon. 😉
Let’s also talk about my earring situation because now I’m missing one. #hotmess
Dresses! Love this one. I think the halter style is really pretty while still modest, but this size is too big on me plus it makes me look more hip-y than I like.
The last item I tried on was this black and white cocktail-type dress. It fit me really well and was so comfortable, but I have nowhere to wear this little number to. I’m also not loving the print.
Additional note: As of a couple weeks ago, Stitch Fix now offers petite sizes and maternity styles!

I love the beaded top and I think I'll have to pin it! I have already pinned the crochet top – but the pricing issue is a bummer! And I wish at least one of the dresses had worked out for you. Thanks for always sharing these – helps tide me over til my next one, which feels so far away haha.
I am struggling lately because I feel like the Stitch Fix folks might get frustrated at my pickiness, but I just don't like buying clothes if I don't absolutely LOVE them! I did that for so long and ended up never liking anything in my closet even though I had a ton of clothes. The crochet top is seriously so pretty. Ah. I know you pay a little more for using the SF service, but the price is so hard to justify for a designer I've paid less for. Sigh. Thank you for always being so sweet and leaving my feedback!!
I think you definitely have to stick with that – and it's something for me to always remember too! Getting dressed is just more fun when you love everything in your closet. To that end, I am definitely going to do some purging before I move again in August! Luckily though, my Stitch Fix keeps so far are pieces I keep wanting to wear, so that is a good sign. I just have a lot of older stuff that I don't reach for as much.
And, I don't think you should worry about them getting frustrated – it is a service there to serve us as the clients! And being open to new styles is one thing, but if you give them a chance and don't love them, it makes sense to send it on back.
Oooh my favorites were the light blue blouse and the black/white dress at the end. How funny that I adore the two things that you didn't seem to love at all. 🙁 In my next fix I requested one of the chevron maxi dresses you returned a few reviews ago. Anxious to see if I love it like I think I will!
That aqua blue top, though, is absolutely stunning!! That pricing is a bit much and I could never get it, but it's so beautiful. You just photograph soooo beautifully in all of these!
Thank you Ellen! ahhh I DID enjoy up sending it back, and I'm wondering if it's going to be one of those tops that I keep thinking about (which means I really should have kept it). Justifying the price was just so hard! Thanks for the feedback! So glad you to have you reading along. 🙂
Thank you Emilie!! I'm still trying to figure out just how to use my new lens. I may be a blogger but I am NOT a photographer! haha!
I'll be so curious to hear what you think of the chevron maxi! I haven't really regretted sending back most pieces, but I do kind of regret the blue dress. It's such a pretty color!
