It’s a keeper! Whoop! We’re headed to the beach in a few weeks, so this one is definitely getting packed up and coming with.
Moving on to the next two pieces. I love the color and fit of this top and think that it would be perfect for summer. It’s sheer, so I put a white camisole (that came in the box) underneath. My only qualm with it is the $54 price tag simply because the quality feels a little cheap and I’m not confident how well it would hold up after a few washes.
Let’s talk about these shorts. As soon as I pulled them out of the box, I immediately put them on praying that they’d fit like a glove just like my Stitch Fix pants all do. Well, they don’t, and what you don’t see is my other side where the shorts aren’t zipped up all the way. The quality of these shorts is amazing, but I can’t hold onto them hoping that I’ll lose five pounds. Bummer.
Without a doubt this is the highest quality item I’ve ever received from Stitch Fix. It’s also the most expensive item I’ve received. Ain’t it funny how that happens?
I recently increased my price limits in my online style profile because I read on another blog that you give your stylist a lot more wiggle room to pick out pieces that would better fit you. I figure that if the price is too high for what I’m getting, then I just won’t buy it (just like I wouldn’t buy it if I were walking around the mall shopping).
I love love love the quality, length, and neckline. My stylist did great picking out this piece because it really is just beautiful! This dress would be perfect for a wedding regardless of the time of year! Unfortunately I don’t have a single event coming up that I can plan on wearing this too.
I also don’t like that the waist is couple inches too big; I’d always have to wear the belt with this dress to make it fit better.

What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is a stop-anytime apparel subscription service that sends customers five pieces of clothing and accessories each month (or more or less depending on one’s preferences) based on price points that one designates in her profile. Stitch Fix stylists hand-pick what to send each customer based on one’s online profile created upon sign up. Customers are charged a $20 styling fee upfront per shipment, but the styling fee is later applied to any item(s) the customers chooses to keep. If one chooses to send back all five items, Stitch Fix keeps the $20 fee. A customer’s best bet is to keep at least one item since $20 has already been paid. Stitch Fix also includes a prepaid bad to send all unwanted items back. If a customer chooses to keep all five items, she gets a 25% discount off of the entire box. So awesome! I love this concept of shopping!
Additional note: As of a couple weeks ago, Stitch Fix now offers petite sizes and maternity styles!

These are such great items. Too bad the shorts were quite right. They really are cute. Love the maxi dress!
They really were great items this time around! Thanks for stopping by and reading! 🙂
Love the maxi dress! So pretty!
Love that maxi and the blue lace dress, but ya it's pricey for something that doesn't fit around the waist. I sometimes have trouble finding stuff that fits me right so I've taken to using a sewing machine or a tailor for complicated pieces. It's amazing how many more times I'll wear a piece if it fits just right.
I love that maxi!!! Looks so good on you!
Thank you dear!! You're sweet! I think maxis are so flattering on everybody! I love them.
Oh I totally agree! I have to get my pants and maxi dresses hemmed all the time, and while I gripe about the price, it's always worth it to have better fitting clothes!
Thank you sweet Jenny!
CUTE! I love that last dress and those shorts are super cute! I admit I actually "cheat" when it comes to Stitch Fix. When I receive the e-mail that it's been shipped I log in to Stitch Fix, click the "checkout" button, Google the names of the items and try to see what I'm getting so I can estimate a shopping budget and review my closet before it gets here. Mine is on its way and I'm already figuring that, if everything fits, I'm going to LOVE this box! I'm swooning over my 2 dresses and at least one shirt.
I love everything! But I do agree with the ones you sent back! Bummer!
I love the dress you kept!
Thank you dear! I may or may not have already worn it twice in a week. Oops. 🙂
Alex, this is totally off subject, but my sister is trying to get stationed there in Hawaii! After always dying over your gorgeous pictures I'm just going to stroke if she gets stationed there. I may definitely be sending her your way for advice if they get it. Ah!
Ashley… we are soul sisters!! I was dying laughing when I read your comment because I do the SAME THING!! This time around I couldn't find a good picture of most of my items ahead of time because the prints varied so much, so it was fun to actually be surprised when the box arrived! ha!! Too funny.
Hahaha oh good! I actually felt a wee bit guilty for doing that like I'm somehow ruining the surprise. Now that I know I'm not alone I can continue the practice with confidence. I couldn't find the exact dress for one item (I even Googled the brand and product number. Ha!) but every version of it that I saw I liked so I'm guessing it's going to be good. Estimated delivery is tomorrow so I'm anxious to see it.
You have to do a post! I'll be so curious!!
I love the maxi! i also have way too many 3/4 length shirts as well!
